Participatory Governance

Bayay Sibuyanon Inc. works from the local to the global to strengthen participatory, open, and accountable environmental governance. Through our accreditations, representation in protected-area and development councils, and engagement with international environmental processes, we bring community knowledge, local concerns, and public interest into decision-making spaces that affect Sibuyan. These engagements help advance transparency, meaningful participation, shared responsibility, and evidence-based action on biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, sustainable development, and the protection of community rights.
